The most important thing to bring with you is a willingness to have a go and a sense of humour. Older clothing is a good idea and sensible outdoor footwear is essential.

Do you do discounts for a half day?
Our packages are based on the number of paintballs provided and not the amount of time spent with us. Savings on a half day session can be made by not requiring so many paintballs.

We ask our guests to arrive at 10.00am and we usually finish around 4.30pm. Although sessions can be arranged to a groups individual specific requirements.

I have heard you take up to 200 people on your site, isn't that a bit manic?
We normally put our groups consisting of up to 50 players in total into games. This means you will play against an opposing team of around 25 people in all. We will of course consider alternate group sizes if requested.

Does the paint wash out?
Yes, the paint washes out of the hundreds of pairs of overalls we use every week, thankfully.

How many paintballs will I use?
Hmmm, the hardest question to answer, but I will try, average use last year was roundabout 500 paintballs on a half day and 600 on a whole day, though many customers used less, and of course we have the one or two who use a lot more. I would recommend a 300 paintball package at least for a half day, and 500 for a whole day.

What are the guns like?
They are semi-automatic (fires each time you pull the trigger), gravity fed paint marker guns. They run off of a compressed air cylinder . These cylinders can provide close to 500 shots before they run out and will be refilled by the marshals when necessary. The guns are set up to hold up to 200 paintballs at a time and to shoot 2-3 paintballs per second. The paintguns, with cylinder and paintballs, weighs between 4 and 5 pounds. It's about the same size as an Air Rifle.

A U.S statistic has found that you are more likely to become a casualty playing a round of golf than playing paintball for a day. Injuries in Paintball tend to be more like sprains and bruises.

On our site we only employ fully experienced marshals , they are there to make sure your day runs smoothly. They are there during all games and intervals to sort out any problems and answer any questions you may want to ask. All marshals are on our site to service and look after you/our guest.

Will the day be cancelled because of rain?
No, we have sheltered safe areas all around the site, and we have found that people seem to enjoy playing in the rain and mud.
